Intelligent MFL pig
for 10" pipeline

Pigging has been used for many years to clean large diameter pipelines in the oil industry. At this project an intelligent pig was designed and manufactured, powered by "magnetic flux leakage" technology. I was in charge of Partodachak company as the head of mechanical designing team. It was not only a long time project, but also a challenging one, due to its complicate technology, lots of critical design points.
All parts were designed by our team and all manufacturing process were defined. One of my major duties in that project was planning and designing the test procedures consists of waterproof testing, pipeline bend tests and defect inspection verification.
